I've just joined the forum, and have been playing devine for about 10 days now almost non-stop at times. Having reached level 19 there is just one area of improvment I would recomend for this great game, which hopfully may be addressed in "beyond divinity".
In the manual under the forward the makers talk about the way you play the game is how you have chosen to play it, e.g hack and slash style, or a more adventure game style involving solving quests and puzzles. Sadly there is no real choice, seen as the quests you solve are worth hardly and experience points. For example a difficult puzzle that takes time and thought in completing is only worth the same amount of experience as killing about 7 monsters which is relatively easy to do.http://www.larian.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif

I beleive that the difficulty of the quests should be reflected more in exp points. Obviously the amount of experience gained from a quest depends on the level you are at when you solve it, but in general I think every quest completed should earn you enough experience to go up a level (or the major quests anyway). The might and magic series had it's faults, but one thing it got perfect was the unique combination of exp for fighting and solving quests. In that game completing a quest almost always led to going up a level, and in some cases depending on difficulty meant going up 2 levels.
The lack of emphasis on solving quests is disapointing, as it takes away a little of the delight in solving a quest that has been logged in your diary for days. As the storyline is so well written, increased exp for solved quests would surely only add to the gameplay, whilst the opportunity would also be there to wander around and kill monsters for extra experience if you so desired.
OTHER THAN THAT I'M LOVING THE GAME, AND CAN'T WAIT FOR BEYOND DIVINITY
