The George`s quest problem .

So I killed the Verdesit`s Murderer and in an questlog appeared the massage " go to Mardaneus and inform him " - just I did.
But in a Mardaneu`ss dialog windown had been nothiing about the George`s problem frown . Only some things about the Source.
Is this a 'bug' or some`tin` ?
Quest: George Murdered!

I have similar/same thing-- I cannot close George's Murderer quest b/c I don't have the option of "telling Mardaneus."

Did you go through all the speech options with the vampire, specifically getting him to admit to the murder and his reason for it, before triggering combat?

The procedure in the topic FIX for broken Imp Council Member quest can be used to complete this quest.
