Crap. I can NOT download that. Time for me to suggest to my friendly neighbourhood PC magazine that this demo is just what they need on their coverdisc.

Why can't you download it? Just leave your machine on overnight with a download manager. That's my intent. GetRight has the option to turn off your computer (and hence Internet connection) after completing all downloads, so your Internet hours aren't wasted.

well, if he lives in Europe then chances are small that he has unlimited phone time like in the US for example. In Belgium we have to pay for every minute we are connected and that's why most of us here in Belgium have a broadband connection. It's just way cheaper if you are a fannatic downloader (and a LOT faster too).

Most Australian connections are paid by the minute as well. Cabel just costs a bit here still.

Hello!

I am new here, but not to Divinity Universe. I just wanted to say how hard are those final days, waiting for the demo not to mention the game. All I know is that it will be worth the wait.

Sadly the connection I use terminates after 5 hours of being connected. And I have nothing that supports continuing downloads. I shall just have to make PC Powerplay stick it on their DVD.

That would be good! But they seem to be pretty slow with their demo releasing.

You can set up GetRight to reconnect if you lose the connection as well. It hasn't got any spyware (as at version 4.5d) and just has a slightly annoying "Register Me!" box that appears randomly. It's quite a useful program.
