Hi,

Would it be a good idea to make the current DOS2 demo free as a proof-of-concept?

It would provide free publicity, as well as feedback from people.

Usual disclaimer attached, of course: Not in a finalised state, not responsbile for any damage / liability, etc.

There's no demo available as far as I know.

No, i don't think it would - I assume you're refering to the prototype shown during the KS campaign ?
It's way too early in the dev process and may lead to a lot of complications as well as false expectations, even with disclaimers.

So no ! An arena further down the line ( like summer or fall 2016 ) may be more realistic, maybe along the alpha builds.

How does the arena work? Is it PvP?

Yeah was a PVP they were showing off during the final hours of DOS2 kickstarter looked pretty fun but I agree dont rush stuff out.
