this is about divine divinity. this game keeps on screwing like when i go into a cinema and some one talks it skips then freezes and shuts down. and on one file it says the file is not compatible with the version of divine divinity even though i haven't gotten a new version or anything plz help. Switching to software mode in the configuration program sometimes helps with cut scene problems. I'm not sure about the version compatibility. That save wasn't from the demo, was it? In the load screen if you select that save, what is listed as the version? One person in the old forum had this value become corrupt (it showed up as a couple non alphanumeric characters), but was able to hex edit the appropriate file to get it to load properly (just the version number was effected).

i tried software mode and direct draw aswell as direct3d and it didn't work. i've tried lowering the quality of game but it still wont work <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />. anyother ideas would help. thnx.
