Hi all.

First of all, I love most of the changes in EE, especially the revamped skill and itemsystem. The story also feels much more logical, and keeping track of the story is not as much of a chore.

I do have one issue with Evelyn however; I went to the morticians house behind the withered gardens, and found the note from the conduit saying that evelyn is the 'evil apprentice', as well as went to evelyns house (read: Bashed the door) only to find an even more incriminating letter.

Yet I cannot confront Evelyn about this. It's almost as if Larian forgot to remove these items, when they decided to rewrite evelyns story.

Anyway, I need to open the barrier to jake/braccus under the church. How do I do that now that Evelyn is still friendly? Has anyone progressed that far?

Alright, so I forgot about the poem in the chest of the crime scene that triggers Evelyns escape. But I still feel like I am missing something. I know that her laboratory is located at the beach close to Dietmar, but I know this from past playthroughs. Did I miss a crucial piece of quest information that would point me in this direction, or are you simply supposed to run around aimlessly until you find the laboratory? Surely there most be something that points in that direction.

For me:

1. Talk to Aurelies
2. Go to Inn, search it
3. Go to mortician, read notes, talk to mortician
4. Dig up corpse
5. Break into Esmeraldas basement, find "evidence" and key to inn chest
6. Open inn chest
7. Confront Esmeralda, she points finger at evelynn
8. Check doctors office for key to evelynn's house
9. Enter evelynns house, read diary, and get "reveal" scroll -- At this point you are pointed to her cave hideout via the Diary.. your characters should comment "So she has a secret hideout on the beach".

I guessed i missed the diary. Thabks!
