I'm in the starting tutorial dungeon, and from what I've seen of let's plays, if you are not detected by the two enemy mummies (cultists?), they were suppose to have a bit of banter about cleaning the tomb.

For some reason, this is not happening for me. I'd sneak up as close as possible with both my characters and wait, but they don't say anything to one another.

What's going on?

Edit: Looked into this further. Seems like for whatever reason, the banter is not triggering properly on the PC. On the console, the banter triggers when the player is fairly close to the mummies.

But on the Steam version, the banter has already apparently finished before my characters are even past the poison gases.

It triggered correctly for me for the two games I've started with the EE. The NPC banter looping endlessly is a problem I'm having. To the point that I'm killing every since NPC I can in Cyseal because it's so stupidly insufferable.

This is very odd. I've started 3 games so far and the mummy dialogue never worked properly.

Alright, so it's not just the mummies, can't trigger Ishmashell's "woe is me" ambient dialogue either. Looked on Youtube for a few playthroughs that were posted recently, and it seems the mummies ambient dialogue didn't work for those players either.

I'm beginning to think one of the hotfix patches is interfering with npc ambient dialogues.
