I've already disabled subtitles in the options but it looks like the setting only applies to the FMV cutscenes. Is there any way to disable the text that appears when NPCs chatter to themselves? It's pretty distracting.
On the bottom right of the screen there are several filters that can be applied to cut out various subtitles. I found that selecting the "banter" filter (clear the checkbox) removes the ambient chatter subtitles...;)
I'm never wrong about anything, and so if you see an error in any of my posts you will know immediately that I did not write it...;)
Nah, disabling the banter checkbox just means that the comments don't appear in the combat log. The comments still appear right over the NPCs head no matter what I do.
