Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Where ideas should be posted?

So...

There is the UserVoice for ideas on D:OS 2, and now there's this forum, where should the idea be posted?

I'm imagining the staff better only have a unique place for the topics so...

In my opinion, here is better. User Voice is a long cluttered list. There's less traffic here and it's easier to organize responses and a conversation.

I'd say both, honestly. I wouldn't be surprised Larian staff is going to have a look at the Uservoice forum first and foremost.

While an idea can be more easily discussed here, it can also completely disappear in non-ideas-related posts. At least, while the uservoice is full of ... let's say politely "random" ideas, everything still is Idea. The downside is that you can't seem to be able to edit your initial idea meaning you'd have to post-script it in the comments.

Maybe you can get the best of both world by posting it first, reflect on comments, and when you feel the result is right, post an "enhanced" version of your idea on UserVoice.

Frankly I'd prefer to post here if only because you can get more people to help formulate an idea.

Unless it is a one off idea.

"Ways to make summons more interesting" Here

Uservoice seems a popularity contest, everything gets drown out...

So yeah, definitely here.

The thing is, do Larian Devs(or anyone how can give those ideas to the devs) read the forums?
As i see my Paypal-Pledge question did not get any attention or answer i would think that, if you post your idea here it gets lost, because the devs won't see it.

I also fear the devs do not pay enough attention to their own forums, imho.

I really like the base goal of the uservoice to enhance the communication between devs and customers, but not the least how it was realized... the uservoice feels like a spongy mud, as does metacritic etc. Hard to trek and low on grip.
More activity in the better structured forums here would have been better, imho. But since the KS some devs at least now know there is a forum at all, it seems.

Yeah, its a little bit sad that we do not see more postings from devs here.
perhaps i'm a little bit spoiled, when i think of Inxile or Obsidian Forums, there you can see Devs, Mods and other People who have a direct contact to the Devs posting on the forums and giving answers to various questions.

Would be nice to have every now and then some posting here, so that we know we were heard (read ^^).
