K, so then I'm not the only one who took a few beers too much. I'm glad a mate of me called my dad, otherwise I never would got home, and luckily I still knew our telephone number <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

My wife who is from Uruguay grew up celebrating Carnaval. Nowadays we just dance in the living room. No beer.

We are celebrating Carnaval for three weeks here. Today is the last Sunday of it. Yesterday I went out with my friends, and we all wore costumes and we got so drunk and we danced till morning. But we did not drink ouzo so today I had a nice and clean hangover.

I as always was dressed Witch and my friends were dressed Vampires and other scary stuff. We went to a "Hell of a Party" that was organized in a bar that we usually go and the music was super!

Gee it was so long since I had to dance! I think I must drop a bit my pc and go out more often <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I think that I must go out again tonight. After all it is the last day of carnaval <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

In German, the Karneval time begins officially at 11.11. at 11.11 local time, but is interrupted by Christmas time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

The *real* time begins in the middle of February - last Thursday called "Weiberfastnacht" - and ends next Wednesday - "Aschermittwoch". "Fastnacht" is another term for Karneval, especially in southern parts of Germany.

To be honest, i have never been to a carneval.. But i have wanted to do it for quite some time.. So my next holiday i think will be were I can find a carneval!!
