Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Enhanced Edition D:OS Bundle Question

My apologies if this is the wrong place to post this.

When D:OS was released I bought the 2 pack bundle from Steam but I've never given the 2nd copy away. If I do so now will it upgrade to the Enhanced Edition so I can play co-op with them, or will the giftee be stuck with the old version of this game (which I notice no longer has a Steam store page).

I believe it should, Raze has said that all codes from before the EE will qualify you to get teh EE free.
