Well, I have gone back seven saved games to when my toon was a lower level and still no General Alix. I am quite disappointed after hearing so many wonderful things about this game, that there would seem to be such a breakdown so early in the action. Now that I read the boards quite a bit it seems like the game is rather plagued with bugs. It must be wonderful to be able to do all the edits of one kind or another to fix problems, but I do not feel that is what I was supposed to be doing when I bought this.
So, I am just going to forge ahead and hope that nothing else this important *breaks down* in the days to follow. I have no intention of starting another char on the off chance that 19 levels later General Alix may (or may not) be there again. This warrior will just not do that part of the quests and see what will happen.
Y'all have great people helping us out on the boards. I appreciate the help I have received in the past.
I had to vent - this is very frustrating. Better luck to those still playing.
