Hi there,

Is there any opportunity to see actual status effects, enemy spells or legionnaire commands (e.g. Iron Command) what are they exactly mean, how they react on the enemy or me?

I cannot hover the mouse over the little pictures during combat..

In the PC version you can right-click on a unit during your own turn and select "Examine" to see current status effects and its descriptions besides many other useful information (depending on your Loremaster skill).

Also there are descriptions of the status icons in the original DOS manual and on the wiki that you can copy off and keep handy until you learn them without having to examine the characters during combat.
