just got the ps4 version.
just made sure subtitles were disabled.
just landed on the beach in a new game.
just picked up a skull and a shell.
just heard my characters talking to each other.
just got really annoyed at all the dialogue text above my characters head.

just registered a forum account to ask HOW TO TURN OF SUBTITLES?!?!

I don't think there is a way to disable the overhead text. I've been looking for a way to do it in the PC version for a while now.

I agree that it's REALLY ANNOYING.
