Hello Larian

Firstly thank you for an awesome game that I have poured so many hours into and enjoyed so thoroughly, thank you too for all the effort you put into the Enhanced Edition and for making it free to DOS owners.

I have two savegames I have extracted from my main save folder. I have kept the folder structure and all other files for your convenience. Here is a link to the zip file with everything : Crash saves

My most recent save, called 'Inner Sanctum..' is the one that crashes to desktop whenever I try to rift travel to Cyseal. I can rift travel to other areas, just not any Cyseal Waypoints.

The other save - 'Final quests' still allows me to travel to Cyseal normally - BUT this one ALSO crashes IF I try to open a trade window with Charla (undead trader, Cyseal beach)

The 'Final quests' save was not too long before the most recent save, the only major actions I performed between the two savegames were :

- Tenebrium orc trader quest (ratted him out to Grutilda)
- Spoke to Mountain guys chief to finally trigger War of the Stones final battle with Grutilda
- Cordelia, Reanimator quest (this bugged out too - even though I chose to save their souls and the evil totem acknowledged it, they still remain as undead traders)
- gathered a couple more blood stones I missed to progress through the Source Temple stone door.

My playthrough was completely crash free right up to before these two savegames.

Please let me know if you figure out why these savegames are crashing, thanks! Would really like to finish off the game, I am so close..

If you need my email address just let me know here.

thanks!

kind regards

This will be fixed in the next update (there's no official ETA yet, but I'd guess a couple weeks). It is due to the item generator running out of handles, likely after a lot of trading, and/or crafting a lot of items to trade.

Hi Raze, thank you for the reply. I did notice there isn't any form of item decay/cleanup, merchants seem to keep everything you sell to them.. makes sense then.
