Please consider to slow down the animation of some spells like meteor shower and hail attack. Right now they are so fast that it is impossible to actually see the effects.

The right speed is the one used in the meteor grenades, where you can actually see the small meteors falling down.

I realize that in the spell you have 30 meteors and not just a few, and this is probably why the animations has been accelerated. But these spells are supposed to be epic, it is very rare to use them anyway due to the requirements, and their effect add so much to the game. I always loved meteor shower spells, in all their forms, in most of my games, from the early D&D adaptations to HMM and so forth.

At least give us an option to slow down the animation. I know some people don't like them and would rather have a quicker combat. I am on the opposite side. I actually think the combat speed is ideal to enjoy the effects and plan your moves. My only complain is for these two spells, which are also the spells I love the most.

Not to open an outdated topic, but I found out that there is an option to regulate the speed of animations in DOS. Messing around with it, I had so much fun with meteor shower and other spells. As long as they keep this option accessible for modders, I am happy...

Truly? What did you do with it?
