Is this skill worth using? I've only used it three times before the end of my last session, and I've noticed a damage inconsistency.
The first time I used it was in heiberheim in the immaculate camp with the mecha rat. Most of the group was dead (probably 3-4 corpses) when I used it. It did a large amount of damage multiple times (low to mid 100's) with the effect being so chaotic that I wasn't able to properly gauge how much damage happened overall. Towards the end of the initial "shrapnel" effect, a giant banshee came out of the ground and flailed around for a bit before dissipating.(The only other time I've seen the banshee was during the fight against the immaculates near the temple with the elemental forge. I don't quite remember what effect it had but i believe one of the immaculates casted it.) Between both effects, nothing was left alive and my entire party almost died from the friendly fire.
The other two times I used it, it did relatively low damage once (high double digits) to each target. There was also only one corpse around in each of these instances.
So... does this spell do more damage depending on how many corpses are around? If the latter uses are the true indication of it's power, it seems to do quite low damage for a master spell, especially considering the facts that it has a unique requirement and also does friendly fire. What caused that strange banshee animation? Did the shrapnel potentially activate a trap or something?
Thanks for the help.
