Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Enhanced Edition Mac EE Sound Option Annoyance

Liking the Mac EE version so far, just one small annoyance.

I set the music level to 0 in sound Options and all is OK for the play session, Save game, Quit game. When I load up to play again music is back quite LOUD even though in Options it is still set to 0 where I set it to.

As I say just slight annoyance.

If you bump the volume slider a notch higher than zero, is it correctly saved and used after restarting the game?

Tried that, does not work.

So the music sound volume level isn't being used regardless of what it is set at?

In the ~/Documents/Larian Studios folder, try renaming the Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition folder, the start the game, create a new profile, set the music volume, exit and restart. If the volume is saved properly, you can exit and move the saves from the renamed folder into the savegames folder for the newly created profile.
If the same thing happens, delete the new D:OS EE folder and rename the original back again.

If you are using Galaxy, try verifying the install files: select Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in the left column, then click on the More button, and in the Manage menu select 'Verify / Repair'.

Tried both ideas you suggested but both did not work.

I assume you are going to pick up that mail I sent ?

Yes, after I sort out why my email program is getting half way through fetching 10 new messages, then stopping and saying I have no new messages. I think a reboot is in order, after I get through a few forum posts.
