I've got the steam version of D:OS, and I went to mod nexus to get some mods to spice up my second playthrough, but after following installation instructions (and most of these mods do specifically mention the steam folder, so one assumes it being the steam version should not invalidate thee instructions) nothing seems to happen.
(These instructions involve extracting a 'Public' folder into the game's own Data folder)
Google returns confusing results that conflict with initial install instructions (usually saying you need to create a Mod folder somewhere depending on what kinds of files the mods are, or even just plunking the files down in the Data folder if they're just .pak).

Can anyone help me figure out how I can make mods work? (I'm assuming it's just outdated or bad installation instructions that should help me with all the mods)
