Just wondered about sequels/other games for divine divinity. I heard that riftrunner is just another name for divine divinity, but they changed the name. However I also heard that there are 3

Divine Divinity
Riftrunner
Beyond Divinity

Just what games are there, as I presumed that there were 2 games, Divine Divinity and then Beyond Divinity which is yet to be released.

It's completely right there are 2 games in the Divinity Universe.
Riftrunner does not exist because it has been renamed Beyond Divinity recently.
It makes some confusion because the old members sometimes name the upcoming game Riftrunner instead of Beyond Divinity.

About Divine Divinity : the original name has been changed too.

Yes, <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> was once named "Divinity, the Sword of Lies" , and before that simply "Project c". This name is still (as comment) in one of the soundtrack's MP3 files. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

LMK was a game that was named before that "Unless, the Treachery". Attic and Larian teamed up to make LMK of it, and later split.

@sammy22: Alrik is correct. Riftrunner and Beyond Divinity are the same rpg.
Riftrunner has been renamed to Beyond Divinity - you can read the press release here.
First there was Divine Divinity, now soon we will release Beyond Divinity, set in the same Divinity Universe and later on there will be Divinity 2 and who knows, maybe even more DD games <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well nothing is know as of yet, hence the name "Project X". We do know its in 3D.

you know the point was made that there are too many mmorpgs...maybe true but there are very few good ones. Maybe Larian can break the mold and make something good...
