Hello, I play on the PS4 EE edition, I'm near to finish this game for the first time and I'm enjoyng it (would LOVE to see more RPG like this on console). I have a 3 questions:

1) I'm in the endgame (I think) and I have pretty high stats, but some tooltips of some skills are strange. Like the warrior skill that knockdown enemy on distance (sorry I have the Italian version, don't know how is called in English) says that have a "150% to knockdown an enemy", and below that say that the chance is "100% + 75% thanks to an high strenght". So is a bug in the tooltip or the cap chance for any skill with side effect is 150%? (because if that is the case I don't see very useful to get str/dex/int over the limit that give you the 150% chance of a side effect, only gives you better chance to hit)

2) How Lucky Charm actually works? I switch my items when not in combat to get a +7 on it, but what are actually the chance of it to trigger? And what can give? And have any cap?
3) In the tips section there is a list of things you can craft, is complete or there are better craftable items yet to find? (like better helms or more enchantment)

That's all for now, some bug here and there, a few translation mistakes but overall this games is great. Waiting for the second one!

It appears Crushing Fist is capped at 150%. Everything adds correctly up to 18 strength, and then after that the chance is shown as 150% even if there is a +75% from a strength of 23.

The other 2 I'm not sure on the details.

It has been tested or proved in game files? Just to make sure because the error could be the other way around smile

Yes, there is a deliberate cap at 150%.

Here are the findings of some ingame tests with Lucky Charm (done in the basement of the Witch Cabin after teleporting down to the Grotto first times).
Lucky Charm varied from 1 to 8 on both main characters (both had the romantic trait). There are a chest, many crates and barrels, baskets, and some bookcases.

1. Lucky Charm has no influence at all on loot generation, neither in the chest nor in other containers,
if there is no "lucky find" (indicated acoustically and with four-leaf clover animation on PC).
2. A lucky find however changes subsequent loot, perhaps like an additional opened container would do.
3. All lucky finds are identical for Lucky Charm 6, 7 and 8. This is consistent with the loot table
linked in the previous post. For lucky finds, Lucky Charm is capped at 6 (but not for offense rating).
4. Even a simple basket may yield a ruby as lucky find.
5. It does not matter, whether you open a basket down below or above outside the witch cabin.
6. If does not matter, whether a barrel opened is here or on a different map (Hiberheim - Cave Entrance).
7. It does matter however (!), whether a main character or a companion opens a container.
8. A main character and a companion will see the same content, if the chest is opened first (only there).
9. After reset (after 5 hours ingame time or levelup), even the trade windows of Cyseal legionairs
will change your lucky finds and other loot in the Grotto or in Hiberheim.

Lucky Charm can be increased by the romantic trait, crafted rings and belts, and bought or found boots and shields, therefore it is possible, to bring it to 6 without investing any ability points. If the loot table linked above is implemented correctly, the probability for a lucky find in the "precious" category (a pearl, painting or ruby) should be 0.010 with Lucky Charm 4 and 0.008 with Lucky Charm 6.

I don't plan to use combinatoric exploits, but as a measure of precaution, I consider any unopened barrel or crate near a waypoint as a precious resource by now, and do not touch it - like a quest (i.e. Elf-Orc Blood Feud) with reward chest or Evelyn's secret lockbox.

Thanks guys, really appreciated. Then I don't think I'm gonna switch equips to open containers in this run as I did in my first one. Imo the most useful item you could find are rubys, but the chance are so slim anyway. I don't think is really worth for gold (ended with over 200k the first run) or for magic items (there are many sellers overall), is just a nice boost for who is willing to switch equip, but not worth any skill points investment or strictly necessary by any means. smile
