Is something changed in the EE version? I am at the tree and I've put down a stardust herb, but nothing happens ...

There is a known issue that dropping the stardust herb may not immediately trigger the appearance of the weresheep, but moving the herb on the ground should, or picking it up and throwing it, or leaving the Phantom Forest and returning right away (one person reported that leaving it too long, in that case an hour, broke the quest and the weresheep wouldn't appear at all).

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem (or link to this topic) and the report.zip file (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc) generated by the D:OS EE Analysis Tool (for Windows).
Extract the zip file somewhere and run AnalysisTool.exe. When that loads, browse to the install folder (if it is not automatically detected), optionally run the tests first, and then generate a report (it will be saved in the same location as the Analysis Tool).

The report will contain system and game information, as well as your saved games. To reduce the file size, you can delete most of the saves from the zip, just leaving your latest save, or one before you first tried summoning the weresheep.

For Mac, saves can be zipped by right clicking the folder(s) and selecting Compress, in the folder:
~/Documents/Larian Studios/Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition/PlayerProfiles/<ProfileName>/Savegames

Linux is similar, with the saves in the home directory.

I'm on PS4. But since I am near completing the game I guess I'll just have to do without the Weresheep ... I moved on and not sure anymore what save is before I summoned the sheep for the first time ...

PS4 saves can be sent, as well, but they would need to be transferred to a USB flash drive first.
In the Saved Data in System Storage section of the Settings menu, click Copy to USB Storage Device, select the relevant save(s) and Copy. From there you can optionally zip the files, then copy to email or upload to Dropbox or Google drive, etc, and provide a link.

A save wouldn't have to be from before first trying to summon the weresheep, but if such a save were available, it would eliminate some types of possible causes (waiting too long after dropping the herb, etc).
