I play Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition on PS4 in Honour Mode.

My game started after 1.04 Update.

After I enter Dark Forest, I can save my game successfully but I can't load my save!! When I try to load my game, it just return to the main menu. No error, No crashing.

I already upload my PS4 save to my Google Drive.

This problem is frustrating. I already ignore all other bugs, like crashes while saving the game, Failed to save game - ErrorCode(s): 523, 524, 525. I just want to get my platinum trophy.....

The crash when saving on PS4 with that error should be fixed in the next update. There is no ETA for that yet.

Any possible temporary solvtion for my problem? Because the game is unable to play with this problem right now. It is really frustrating. I finished all quests in Cyseal, Luculla, Hiberheim and leveled up to 18. I really want to finished the rest of game.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any workarounds which would allow you to load the save.

Is that possible to let me know whether this is a bug in the game or rare case with unkonw problem in my save?

In first case, I may be able to continue my game when the bug is fixed.

In second case, I will need to begin a new game in the future.

Yes, after a programmer is able to take a look at the save.

This happens even before the patch, and only happens after you reach the dark forest. I am not really sure what causes it, but its very frustrating. We lose 1-4 hours a night co-op because nearly half the saves refuse to load. I originally thought saving in the phantom forest causes it but it happens anywhere.

Also trying to do platinum trophy, but gave up because of the amount of bugs.

Hey Hercules, by any chance are you playing 2 player co-op on the PS4? It seems not many people are having this issue and that's the only thing I can think of that could be causing a bug that seems to be affecting very few people.

An educated guess on my end would be to force log out the second controller and then try saving; this would eliminate the error on saves corrupting if it was caused by co-op?

Hi Deyadissa, I never played 2 player co-op on PS4. I have no idea why I have this problem. I just followed a trophy guide and tried to get my platinum trophy.

The support issue has been assigned to a programmer to look at, and he changes the status to 'in progress' but has not added any comments with details.

Hello, I end up facing the same issue. I can't load the only save in honor mode, I have 80 hours of game and I'm lvl 20, so please notify me when a corrective patch is out...

If you email supportdos@larian.com, with a brief description and your save, I'll create a support issue to get a programmer to take a look at it, and check if it is the same issue. They may or may not be fast updating the issue, but it should get checked before the patch is finalized.

You would need to transfer the save to a USB flash drive first.
In the Saved Data in System Storage section of the Settings menu, click Copy to USB Storage Device, select the save and Copy. From there you can zip the files, then copy to email or upload to Dropbox or Google drive, etc, and provide a link.

Hello, is there any news about our problem?

The cause of the problem is fixed in the update, but unfortunately the save itself is broken and can not be recovered.

Can you confirm if this requires a new game for it to be fixed? I know some bugs can only be resolved on a brand new game.

I have an old copy of my save that works and just wanted to know if this issue would be resolved for previous saves that aren't corrupted.
