Well i just wanted to say that i started playing dd when it first came out a few years ago ( i loved dd and because of it i thought "well hey if i could find a MMORPg like this and play with ppl .. wow that would be great!") and quit the game a few months afterward because "I thought" it would be wiser to quit single player games and put my time into MMORPGs so my efforts of level gain etc would be seen by more than just myself. Well two years later ive come to the conclusion that i was wrong.. Ive tried many of the MMORPGS out there and they all seem to be the same.. the only difference is a change in setting etc but the WASTE OF TIME that each offers doesnt change. I wanted to get into the game and follow a story and complete quests etc, all of which were promised on the box in the bold text by the developers..well lets just say it wasnt like that at all. All i did was level grind and i never developed any bond to the game or a feeling of "wow that was a great game". Now im back and ive decided to buy divine divinity again. I'm going to buy two copies of the game for me and my girlfriend to play because nothing compares to a great single player experience. When it comes to single player experiences DD is definitly number 1 on my list, followed by the baludurs gate series and morrowind. ( and few others)
I know that comparing MMORPGS to single player games isnt really fair but whatever.. its the truth =\
