Hello there Larian Studios

I am a old divine divinity fan I don't know if you remember me but i commented on the first game of the divine series you had made. one of the best rpg i had ever played.

The only thing that I really wanted in divine divinity was to be able to get drunk in the game. there was no drunk animations for the characters when drinking ale in taverns or anything. Also to be able to be good neutral or evil. Well those are the only things i REALLY want in the next divine game. If you could at least spend some time with the player models in 3d lightwave, or 3ds max or whatever software you are using and please put in intoxiated animations for the player models and AI models.

edit: wish i could help ya guys out on the development of the game. I used to do some leveling for quake 3, half life, and alot of other games, but i live way over in canada

cheers

hello, i cannot recall ever having the privilege to know u but welcome back.

about the animation for drunkeness, well i'm all for it. but i think is too far into the final stages that all the developers will do to the game will be debugging the codes & such. maybe it can be in DD2.

Actually, there is quite a fitting animation for being drunk this time - I suggest you try it in the demo which will be available online as early as next week

thats great news. Larian studios is the only game company i know of that actually takes suggestions from gamers. It's great to know you guys have a passion for gaming and also the gamers.

Thnx very much for your reply lar I can't wait for the game I'll definitly will have to try the demo out and buy the game I was very very impressed with your first game divine divinity. The game not only made me hungry all the time but wanting to eat medium rare steak and drink ale at dinner. If a game makes me that hungry its gotta be good! LOL

it wasnt just that though i like how much you could do in it and how large the world was. There are so many rpgs out were it only shows you one path to go but with divine divinity the world was so big it made me feel as if i was right in the game when i was playing divine divinity. The books were also great I like having alot of reading in rpg games. I also loved how you could mix herbs to make potions. It made it so much more real and diverse. The amount of skills and everything just made me keep playing the game and never get bored of it. I liked the taverns and how you guys made the rooms feel as if you were right there in a real tavern with people talking and candles burning while hearing the fire crackling in the backround.

cheers

We forgive you. Your just a newbie.

Drunk animation, thats great. Morbo wonders what the chars will do. Mooning ,flashing, fall down alot, saying to monsters:"Why can't we be friends", "for a monster you're quite actractive".
