Sven said that a VR Mode was announced for steam players, is this preview only for steam users and not for console users?

Yes, it's only for PC. I guess current gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One aren't powerful enough to run this VR Mode they introduced today.

Looks interesting, but what can we do without the (very expensive) VR equipment yet ?

Something tells me its a April fools joke even though video came out 31st and not 1st,
In the bag you find permanent rot and your face nose will permanently turn in to a big red clown nose.
