I am having a problem where I can't learn adept level skills. I have two point in Hydrosophist but when I try and read a hydro adept skill book it tells me my level is not high enough.

I only have 3 skill learned which are novice skill and no adept skill, I should be able to read two adept level skill books no?

Same issue trying to learn fireball while having two point in pyro skill.

Is there a character level requirement along with skill level requirement?

I am lvl character 4 btw.

Yes, there IS a character level requirement.

Most of the Skill Boooks show this level in the Detail Description. The Number of level is red, if you are not leveled high enough.

Realized this when looting skill books, which requiered a higher level that I was at this time.

Above this Fireball requires pyro skill 3 in Enhanced Edition, if I imagine right...

Aagh your right I totally missed that when trying to read the books...lol

Pyro is adept so 2point in pyro but is level 6 char. req.

Gah wanted to learn water of life but only lvl 4 and need lvl 9..
