The feature / mechanic I'm most excited for is gm mode. Can't wait to see exactly what it can do

- Source Points in Combat
- New Mod Tools; so very needed, let players like me that don't have 100 hrs to learn the tools do some simple but entertaining modifications
- GM Mode; hopefully something that works well
- New Origins
- Freaking UNDEADS...
- Better High End Spells (like Meteor shower); Make it difficult to obtain and to use (a lot of APs), but once unleashed, let it rain baby....

Magic Armor. It should help even the playing field between the AI and the Player. In D:OS 1 it's too easy to status effect everything to oblivion.

The dialogue-system. If I understand it correctly, every dialogue shall be racespecific. If Larian gets that right, it could be possible that they create a new standard in writing.

Not all dialogue will be race specific; in some situations race wouldn't matter, or other tags may be more important, etc.

Adding of currently missing APIs to Osiris (and charscripts/itemscripts) would would be the only thing to name.

Other than that, nothing at all, the new AP mechanic seems a big turn-off at first look and the introduction of PvP makes me even more nervous than the introduction of console ports did with the original.

I did not say it IS a turn-off, only that it seems to be one at first look. Slight difference.
I'll just wait until it's out, until then (and even after that) I have the right to be sceptical and not too enthusiastic while others have every right to be fully enthusiastic and not sceptical at all. Opinions ;-)

It's a fact though that the only thing I'm currently 'excited' about is new APIs.
Not graphics, not mechanics and certainly not pvp.
