juz a small question....
Dunno if its a bug or not but i can equip my character with a bow and a shield.
will the qualities of the shield be attributed to my character or will it juz be there adding weight? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

I THINK it's just adding weight, I'm not sure though, but I think that the shield parameters are not used when using a 2 handed weapon

Just adding weight.
When you use two handed weapon and equip shield, then:
[*]you won't see the shield on your character.
[*]in the equipment menu, shield will be very black.
[*]you don't use the shield or gain any of it's attributes.

its still good to hold onto a good shield

But no need to carry it with you. Store it somewhere for the case that you switch to a one hand weapon later in the game

Also, anything on your body does not add to your weight. I had two sets of gloves, one with good armour, the other with Trader's Tounge. When I was Encumbered, I couldn't swap the gloves, even by dropping them on the ground temporarily, because the armoured gloves weighed more. I had to drop the armoured pair completely and come back for it later.
