...it was a deeply satisfying RPG experience and I am especially glad I waited for the EE edition. I have been a fan of Larian Studios ever since their release of Divine Divinity years ago (only game I have ever played through 3 times).
I am not a Turn Based fan but in this game it worked out so well. The graphics were well done. I loved the story line and the overall creativity was top notch. I really liked the humor too and with the added voice acting it was much more impactful. I was also glad it was a Party Based game. I much prefer my RPGs this way than Solo play.
Another thing that made the game better than most RPGs is that they designed the game as "not holding your hand." Too much dumbing down is taking place in games today. However, some of the puzzles were just down right frustrating which, IMO, took away from the game rather than adding to it.
The camera angle had a lot to be desired. I really hope in the next game we can have a more forward looking camera. I think Pillars of Eternity implementation was superior in this matter.
Lastly, I would like to know if anyone played as a Wayfarer or Cleric? If so, what was your experience like with these classes? I have yet to see anyone play these classes.
