Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Enhanced Edition Death Knight Control Wand (Spoilers)

I am about to complete my second run through of the game and I am at that part in the First Garden where there are 6 Death Knights attempting to prevent us from fighting the Void Dragon.

The Death Knight Control Wand was placed in my inventory after the Soul Forge took place. I equipped said wand but when I go to use it the Knights remain invulnerable. I attempted to hit the same knight several times in a row but he remains invulnerable. I tried reloading several times but the same thing happens.

I then tried first casting the spell that makes them vulnerable and then use the wand but I am hardly touching them; very little damage at at all.

Is this a known issue or am I missing something? I did not have this problem when I did my first run through.

Are you just attacking with the wand? The wand allows the character to use the Death Knight Removal skill (the icon is similar to Death Knight Bane), which should one shot them.

Yes, only the wand. It is equipped.

That's the problem, then; direct attacks using that wand wouldn't do much damage (14-28 Tenebrium) even if the targets weren't invulnerable.
