Will Kickstarter backers be getting automatic early access?

Not quite automatic: you'll eventually need to request a key in the Vault and redeem it on Steam. There will be a Kickstarter update about that when it is ready, before Early Access starts.

Hmm, GOG was also listed on the early access screen towards the end. You sure it's Steam only?

Currently, yes, but we are working on making it available through GOG, as well.

Given how expediently I got my forum badge (AKA: Not yet) I am scared I might not get into the Open Beta until WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY after September.

In the trailer there is a lot of stuff already shown in the Gamestar video, so nothing much now.

However, having a date is delightful.

If you have two (or more) keys in your KS reward, are you going to be able to claim more than one early access code?

And even split them between 1 Steam and 1 GOG (once available)? \

Or will I need to wait for full release to use my multiple keys?

Is it still possible to add any add-ons to one's pledge?

If you have 2 copies of the game in the tier rewards, that will give you 2 keys for the beta. You'll be able to choose each available key separately, so can split them between GOG and Steam.

There was some discussion about allowing money to be added (via Paypal) for add-ons (excluding extra copies of the game). As long as no issues cropped up with that, there should be a Kickstarter update at some point with instructions and deadlines, etc.

EDIT: eventually it was decided not to do this. Either adding the functionality to the Vault or manual additions would divert resources from working on the game, and those who would need to do either are already quite busy.

Which platforms will the early access version be available for on Steam and GOG? (Windows/Mac/Linux)

Currently Windows is the only confirmed platform for the game.
