Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Stuck on Elven artefact item

I'm on the mission where you have to find and convince the seven members of the Council. In order to convince the elven member of the lot, I have to find out who is desecrating the burial grounds and bring back three elven artefact items.
So far so good. I have found the orc camp, the cave, killed all the orc and their master ( a woman named Janeira or something ). PRoblem is, i can find two elven artefacts in that chamber, but the third one is lying somewhere where i can't get to it. I can see it when i press ALT, but when i click on it, nothing happens. If there's any way to circumvent this ( *cough* cheats * cough* ), I'd be glad, because I saved right after killing Janeira and would not like having to load a savegame of three hours before. Thanks.

DId you get the weapon that she dropped? and the two closeted away items??


or is it in the wall?

two of the items are on the table in the north. but you get the last one when you kill josephina. if she is too close to the wall when you kill her then the item goes into the wall. only way to get the item back is to kill josephina all over agian.

Well, it seems that's exactly what has happened. I saved right after I killed her, so the only way to kill her again, is to load a savegame of a few hours before. Is there no way to avoid this ? There isn't an item editor cheat or so ?

I had the exact same problem with the staff being stuck in the wall, I was able to retrieve it (with the help of an 8 year old kid). Although I could not pick the item up directly, what I was able to do was move it to the centre of the room and pick it up from there. I had saved over my existing save game as soon as I defeated Josephina, so if I had not been able to do that then I would have lost a lot more than 3 hours!!

u can try to use telekinesis level 5, maybe it will help you

Hmm, ok.. that didn't help. Tried that, but I got lost somewhere and ended up with me being naked and just a piece of cheese on the ground <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. right i have a prob with this quest as well though mine is killing that blasted woman
anyone who played a mage and succeeded at it?Am i just using the wrong spells or...?
