Well after more cranking, I've decided that the stamina thing won't be much of a problem if you put a lot of stat pts into it. It SHOULD be upped to start I think just to decrease how annoying it is. I still want the ability to assign keys to move the camera left/right/up/down. Other than that it definitely is getting that Divinity feel. Isn't as bad as my initial reaction. Some of it could be I'm just so used to Spellforce now having played it for over 80 hours in the past 2 weeks.

One thing I'd like to see is a shared inventory between you and the deathknight. There's really no reason to have to right click on something and give it to the other character. I'm not sure how much of a problem this would be to impliment considering you will be getting more NPC's to control later? I'm unsure on that just asking. Anyhow it's starting to grow on me again.

Kiya: Not nitpicking or anything, just thought you'd want to know "Cemetary" is spelled "Cemetery" (in your sig or whatever) Unless of course you mispelled it on purpose, in which case ignore! hehe

don't know why - maybe cemetary is a very old way of writing it? Found it on several sites - I prefer the "a", thank you

heh it's commonly mispelled, but I agree it looks better with the A, which is why I thought maybe it was on purpose.

Difficult to throw it around like you can a barrel. With barrels I click on them and move them across the screen. If you recall, in Divinity you could throw barrels at enemies and cause damage. You move garbage to get at possible things underneath it. However, actually grabbing the garbage seems very hard to do compared to moving barrels around the room. It doesn't seem to want to snag the garbage so you can move it across the room. Like I said, you CAN do it but it's way harder to get to work than a barrel (which works flawlessly first try everytime).

Damn! I didn't even try tossing barrels arround!
Well, I'm off for today: so many people have the demo and I have to wait for tonight to download it.
Cheers!

You can also drag and drop items onto the character portraits to transfer to the other character.

I was only able to play for 30 minutes over my lunch hour today, but what I saw I liked. I like how my main character will be a wizard and the dark knight will be a tank. However, I do have one question, how come ALT doesn't highlight items on the ground, and second, is there a way to select both of my characters at the same time without having to go up to the portrait, right click, and select all?

As far as I can tell there is no keyboard shortcut to select both characters, that is definitely needed.

You can right click on weapons/armor and give them to your other character, however you cannot do this with all items in the inventory. I have no idea why this would be the case. I wanted to give certain agility/constitution potions to my other char and had to drop it on the ground first to do it. Although I guess you can drag it to the portrait as stated above (haven't tested that). Also you cannot right click->give to gold either. This would all be eliminated if both characters shared an inventory like they share experience pts.

You can click on the bottom right icon under the portraits to select all characters; faster than right clicking (the tab key will also bring up the character menu), though is not as handy as a hotkey would be.

I'd also like a hotkey to re-centre the camera on the active character. The F1/F2 keys work to select / re-centre for individual characters. A 'select all' hotkey would be good enough, though I would like a single re-centre hotkey that works for either individual or party selections.

Either character can use potions from either inventory, so there is less need to swap them around.

This doesn't work for all items.

As I stated above, I've already found a need. Let's say your Deathknight picks up potions of agility or intelligence and you want to give them to your character. You have to drop it to the ground first and pick it up with your main character.

The demo for me shows that same magic spark, that divine divinity had when i first played that. The only trouble iv'e had is with setting the primary and secondary attacks. Now both buttons do whirlwind attack, it's rather annoying but i still managed to complete the demo. Now i want beyond divinity even more arrgghhhhhhhh.
