I have the key from the Migo quest and the new map marker, but when I visit the marker the only door is on an upper level. There's a ladder above...am I supposed to knock it down somehow? I've tried combining rope and various other objects in the hope that it would create a grappling hook or something, but no luck.

I was able to get on the ledge you are talking about by Teleportation, it took a few tries to get the right placing to be able to teleport, but it worked. (I got the ability to teleport from some gloves I found incase there is not a book to teach it.)

For me I used the Chef questline to free elfdude and I was given the location of a passage which coincidentally had an entrance right near Migo. I am not sure if the sidequest or whatever the new perception is that allowed me to see the entrance but I had walked past it before something had changed.

Yeah there is like at the very least 3 different questlines to get in there
