Good news everyone!

...actually, no :-(
As I undestood, the Early access is not available for macOS – is it correct? Or it's some glitch on my side?

I have successfully added the game into my Steam library, but can't download since "is not available on your current platform"... :-(

When to expect macOS version? Will be any "early access", or only later for the main release?

We don't even have any confirmation if there's going to be a Mac version at all. Sad but true.

I'm sure 100% it will be. In D:OS1 there was great cross-platform approach and I don't see any reason why Larian will refuse it. The question is – "when".

Fingers crossed then! Was supporting it in the expectation that it would also support Mac. Happy to have a bug-ridden version to test for you Larian!

I really want to believe that it will be ported to Mac, but everytime I've enquired Larian about this their reply always dodge the issue, "We are focusing on windows, other plataform versions MAY be announced in the future". So I'm just telling you what I was replied by Larian.

I'm going to be honest though, while I don't mind waiting, I'm going to get a bit annoyed if it doesn't happen. But at this point I understand and I think its totally reasonable for Larian to focus on the Windows version.

Well I think that is a joke with regards to ninetendo; while I expect to see it on linux and macos (dont' have a mac myself); as well as xbox and ps4 - i have no clue which platforms will obtain the actual ports and in what order. If it was strictly up to $$ I would expect xbox and ps4 before linux/macos (er not $ to cost but $ to be made). D:OS 1 runs pretty well on all these platforms but i'm unsure what has changed in the engine with regards to hardware interface - it might be that they all will work in the end without little effort (beyond qa) or it might be that the graphic improvements were not done platform independent. I suppose you would require one of their coders to comment on the engines layering and structure to have a feel for what will happen and in what order smile

The company line is of course the standard line because it avoids liability to claim something and then (for whatever reason) failing to deliver. I would prefer something like:
we are focus on windows but intend to support x,y,z but at this time we cannot promise that will happen as circumstances will change. Obviously the statement they are providing is more conservative but it also leaves the user base further in the dark which is less satisfying. Then again if they said something like the above an then had to back out (for whatever reason) people would be (more?) angry.
