Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Can I play early access co-op?

I have a silly question that you guys might be able to answer. With the amount I backed, I will receive two copies of D:OS 2. One of these copies is for a friend.
If we backed together, is it impossible to get two versions of early access? Or can I send him his key so we can play together on the early access?

If you backed a pledge including 2 copies of the game, you just have to visit your Larian Vault and link it to your kickstarter account. Once done (if not yet) you just have to visit it and claim your keys.

Early Access keys are the final product keys, meaning they are the only keys you'll receive; so you just have to give one of your keys to your friend and play together.

Note that if you both want to create your characters, your friend will have to join you during the character creation phase because once your campaign begins, no new character can join and your friend would have to wait until you recruit a companion that he'll control.
