If you go into the Arena fight with a couple of mates (co-op) and you win, you then get the option to fight to the death to be the One.
In fighting to the death, it was down to 2 of us remaining and I committed suicide in a fiery ball of flames (accidentally / maybe on purpose).
Anyway, in doing so, the opponent was not granted the win as he didnt make the killing blow. So the game was stuck. He couldn't do anything - the guy running the Arena wouldnt talk to him and he couldnt leave.
The only solution we found (that didn't break the save game fortunately) was to use a Resurrect Scroll to resurrect the fallen comrade, then kill him again. However, if we didn't have one of those, the game would be perma-stuck!
