There are a few issues bothering me at the moment.
1. When passing under a bridge, I had some trouble actually moving where I wanted to go because I kept clicking on the bridge rather than the ground underneath.
2. During dialogue, I had trouble telling who was talking when there were 2 or more NPCs. During the big controntation when you first arrive at Fort Joy, I had a lot of trouble understanding what was going on (especially because the camera was stationed half-way behind a wall). I turned on the option "close-up dialog", which I quite like, except that the close-up could easily be the back of someone's head. Also, the camera doesn't reset after the dialogue is finished. Aside from the bugs, I'm really convinced that close-up dialog should be turned on by default.
3. The only caveat I have regarding the "close-up" dialog is that the text of the dialog is very segmented from the rest of the screen. I want to look at the 3D characters, but I feel that I'm forced to look up. When the narrator describes the characters doing something, I have to look up and picture the character doing it. If the character is animated, I don't even notice because I'm staring at the text box. I would like this UI to be improved so that it's less distracting. Part of this might involve displaying NPC dialogue in a more compact box, and waiting for player input before asking you to choose a response.
4. A lot of times the camera seems very fiddly. I'll walk into a room and only the characters are visible behind the wall. I can't tell what's in the room without constantly rotating the camera.
5. So far the minimap (especially when expanded) is confusing and almost feels unusable. Given that it's so ugly, I can only assume that this is a work in progress. Needs more markers (and I shouldn't have to hover over them to know what they are), needs to tell me what a location is instead of just providing what is essentially just a top-down view. It's like trying to find a new restaurant with nothing but a satellite photo.
Also
6. I agree with concerns mentioned elsewhere that the isometric camera does not zoom out enough. It often feels very cramped and I generally have to rotate the camera behind my characters to feel like I can see where I am going.
