That's what I really like at Larian Studios: the voice of the player matters!

Keep up the good working Lar!

and the rest of the Larian Team.

Yes I was going to buy the game anyway.

or i did anyways. updated my DK first i did slashing, damage +1. then i did damage +2. it worked as one skill, I assume all skills work like that./ and maybe all slashing is one thing. and maybe all one handed melee is one thing!

Excellent points, Greyclouds.

Interesting customizability, don't you think? I mean you can actually customize your skill's parameters, something beyond Diablo's foolproof system.

Yes, I presume all the 22 boxes would be used: I am sure you saw all the Survivor skills. Most of them are very useful, hence you might try to use them all.

Indeed, in DD every characters end the same. Sneak was never used (tried sneaking in BD? Not only it doesn't take stamina but also it shows enemy's sensibility zone!) along with several other skills. Also, a character starting with a magic spell had a better chance of survival than even a beefed up warrior.
Playing a survivor character was difficult at the beginning and then ridiculously easy later. Summon a pair of scorpion traps and sit in a corner while they're cleaning the yeti cave/orc camp/wilderness.
I cannot judge from the demo, but the game looks much better balanced.

I have always intended to get this game and after playing the demo, I still will. However, I beg you PLEASE do something about the absolutely APALLING voice acting. Never have I heard worse.

If God said it, then that settles it!!

Before the demo, my thought was this: rush out and buy BD the very day it ships where I live.

After the demo, well, my thought becomes: uhm, I think I'll wait to see the reviews when the game's actually released.

In all likelihood, I'll still buy the game, but not with as much enthusiasm. Color me a tad... disillusioned.

Absolutely.

The demo presented a game I really want to play.

I thought the actor that voiced the voice of the prisoner talking about squishy bits was good.

I didnt like the actor who did the knight. A line like " do you like the meat... its imp" its sort of a toothache to listen to it.

The intent of the author of the line is to be sardonic, he is laughing at your characters horror. Its well written little banter, sort of funny and relates to me well what his character is about.... but the voice actor is just reading the line in monotone. A bad actor, what can I say. Its not a big deal, but its for real its bad acting.

A couple other guard voices were really bad also.

Ok, I said that. However, Im sure Ill love the game anyway. The problem is, Im probably going to love the game but it will always stick in my head what a toothache listening to that guy was.
