You can also go into the options and examine/change many of the hotkeys.

Yes, I know, but still there is no slot for the 'save game' as it was in DD.

But anyway thanks a lot for the response. I'll stick to it with the quick save.

In the worst case I finish the game without saving <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

'Open Save Plate' (shift+S) and 'Open Load Plate' (shift+L) are the 3rd and 4th entries in the list of hotkeys.

The only real problem i have with the game is that the engine judging from the demo seems to have far higher requirements than DD obviously that is my problem and not larians but i have to admit i dont see why they changed the engine i thought DDs was brilliant. The other small disklikes i have of the demo is the inventory screen which imo is too big and has to be moved in order to close it which can be annoying when ur comp runs slow and finally targetting the monsters was hard at times

Depends on resolution. I like the inventory screen gives you a overlook of your char in one screen.

Why would the inventory screen need to be smaller?

It depends on the Resolution. In 800x600 the inventory takes up almost the entire screen, and in 640x480 it really takes up the entire screen. As a side effect the statistics are hidden behind the character portraits, and in 640x480 the inventory-tidy-up buttons are falling out of the inventory window.

I like also to have a overlook of the character in one screen !
I did not realise that it was the reason why it is so big.
My resolution is 1024/768.

I played the whole Demo in 800x600 , because in higher resiolutions the game tendes to slow down, at least graphically.

After a time, I got used to the big inventory screen.
