Is there anyway to turn off the terrible hiding in a bush animation?

I doubt, since that's the only "stealth animation" included in the client. But yeah, I wasn't a fan of it even in the first game.
I know it's just a matter of taste, but a proper animation for sneaking would be appreciated as far as I'm concerned.

EDIT: Then again, it's possible they probably came up with this solution because they couldn't create a convincing animation in the first place.
Who knows.

I love the stealth animations! I guess they've compromised since the bush, barrel and rock no longer creep around on tiptoe which I liked even better.

i found it pretty funny in dos1, but to be honest, now i would rather prefer a "normal" stealth animation (something like invisibility) in dos2 as well. it does take away immeration.

Didn't break my immersion. They made it pretty clear why that crocodile could teleport, and dogs with cross bows are cool :P.

I miss the sneaking animations from one with the funny tip toeing honestly.....too many games try to take themselves seriously. The over the top humor and dialogue and voice acting, the colorful and slightly cartoon-y graphics, and even the quests (I mean that kitty love :P)...It all helped give the game identity of it's own

I have no problem with the game "not taking itself seriously". If anything I always defended the previous one from people criticizing it for "not being serious enough", by pointing that the story was at its weakest exactly when it tried to take a turn for the dramatic and its best when it played comedic tropes.

I just don't like the current sneak aesthetically. That's it. I'd prefer to see the characters actually sneaking, rather than having them suddenly replaced by a piece of environment.

what i am talking about is that a walking rock the size of a man is "remarkably not unremarkable". it is funny but just does not look sneaky IMO. a sneaky-ish funny animation i would be ok with, though. just as Tuco said, its an aesthetic thing
