Could someone help, i know tht Eolus is supposed to be in the house below the dwarven axe statue thingy, but he's not there. I've been all around the village looking for the little worm but i cant find him. I scryed for him and it looks like he's there but he's not. He's about the last council member for me to get to go to the council, so am getting stuck for what to do next, any help would be very gratefully received!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> [color:"red"] [/color]

Quest: Retrieve the Axe of Stone
Solution: In order to persuade the dwarven representative, Eolus, to join the Council of Seven, you have to find out what happened to the Axe of Stone first. The dwarves blame the elves for stealing the axe. You should go and talk to Gregor Dunatrim, the mayor of Glenborus in the local town hall. Tell him you would like to see the elf prisoner in the cellar under the town hall. Talk to the elf, then get some booze from Rimmer and talk to Gregor again.

If you still have to start the he is at the monument. And sopmetimes even in or very near to walls of the house. Check you minimap for green points and slowly move with the mouse.

I cant find him to ask him for that quest. I keep scrying for him and i can see him near some trees and next to the body of a dead thug. I've searched all round the village and surrounding area but am unuable to locate him anywhere. [color:"red"] [/color] <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

He is not at the axe monument? Did you try walking around the house just south of there, keeping close to the walls? Sometimes he hides by a wall, and doesn't show up until you get near. There should still be a green cross on the mini-map for him, though, I think.

I've rechecked around the house to the south of the axe statue, and Eolus has either gone for a wiz or hiding or something, cause he aint there!! lol HELP!!!! [color:"red"] [/color] <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

There are two possible solutions, that I can think of;

Reviving dead NPCs - can change character locations (via hex edit), though this does not necessarily work on characters that relocate due to plot development, as Eolus does.

FIX for the Missing Catacombs Portal / Josephine herself stuck in the wall
requires a file swap and restore from a save at a corresponding point, which may or may not cause a problem during the blessing ritual (when your original file was swapped back, the game would think he was in the village, rather than the council hall)

this is exactly what happened to me, haven't started stone axe quest yet, so i've never met eolus at the giant axe (so i know he won't be in his house)...when i scry for him, he appears to be near a dead female thug...i've searched all over the place and can't find him...any new thoughts at all?

Have you recruited at least 5 other council members? Only then will you be able to successfully scry for the dwarven council member.
