Instead of triggering the initial event where you first encounter Dallis the Hammer I choose to take the ladder on the side of the structure. Dallis and Bishop Alexandar will both stay in place so long as you don't escape Fort Joy.

Both Dallis and Alexandar will only go to 0 HP. It seems if you bring Dallis to 0 she triggers and they will both exit on her next available turn. If you bring Alexandar to 0 he will heal back up but dropping him again triggers the Dallis/Alex exit.

The fight was possible with the blood rose elixir exploit and the insane power of a buffed Warlord character.

I was wondering what happens if you kill Dallis, though I've been wondering if it's possible to save Atusa as well by doing this. My plan was to abuse how broken archery currently is to 1-shot wonder Dallis with Snipe (height advantage from top of ladder + blood oath + rage + sneak (guerilla and Snipe's effect)). Maybe I'll still do a run where I try and save Atusa just to see if you can actually talk to her afterwards though my guess is that she becomes an uninteractable NPC

I gave it a second attempt with some minor adjustments and was able to defeat Dallis, Alex, and all the mobs on turn one.

Oh! It turns out she drops her hammer when she transforms and leaves the area. I didn't notice it the first time around.

Why would you give a spoiler warning despite the title being a spoiler?

The title doesn't spoil anything, you see Dallis in the beginning of the game. The fact that she can be defeated isn't really much of one either. It's what happens after she is defeated that I wanted to alert readers to.

Man, I'm so glad that they added a journal note and proper behavior for when this happens :D I wonder if Alexandar still shows up at the final battle?

that's the hard way to do it.

easy way:
get someone with high strength or telekinesis. place barrel #1, place barrel #2, place barrel #3, place barrel #4. cast fireball. $profit$

divinity original barrel 2

I think you are right that there are easier ways of winning the fight. I actually thought it would be much harder. But it was really fun to just annihilate everything with Warlord procs.

I did the fight again and saved Magister Atusa (he did not take any collateral damage). Dallis and Alexandar leave -- Atusa takes his turn attacking my team and when he ends his turn he just explodes as if Dallis absorbed him.
