Negative/bugs
* Several times I experienced a lock up in battle when coming out of Fort Joy and meeting the Paladin. All times the battle locked up when it was Lohse's turn.
* Being unable to autosort inventory is a hassle.
* You've got an intro explaining you are prisoners aboard a ship. This needs to be made more extensive and explained more in detail for new players who have no idea what the Divine, Godwoken or Source is.
* The game seems to put a lot of stress on my system despite being on a 980ti and having a high end computer in general. Hopefully this will get cleaned up at proper launch.
* Enemies are smart enough to not being duped going after a "tank" character. They go after my nukers/ranged characters which means tank characters are useless. I have found it much better to have a party consisting of four damage dealers.
* It is possible to miss chances of having your collars removed (this may be intentional if you don't want hold the hand of the player but may have to be made easier/more obvious until launch). This is applicable to a lot of quests and stuff in general - it is very easy to miss stuff. I am not advocating dumbing down the game I just want to call your attention to it.
* There are a lot of humorous parts in the game (just saying burning pigs). Make sure you think you strike a good balance between mature/interesting content and humour so the game isn't turned into a Benny Hill RPG.
* Source points, how you gain them, use them and skills using source points isn't explained that much. Right now you have to stumble in the dark a lot figuring it out yourself. Also - it may just be me but I have a hard time feeling it is ever worth memorising skills using source points when weighing them against regular skills.
* A big part of D:OS 2 is playing around with elements and how they affect eachother. Maybe it would be a good idea to have the player being forced to play with it in the starting area. Right now it can be overbearing standing in a battle field with necrofire, blessed water, ice, blood etc. and not really understanding what is going on - especially for a player new to your universe.
EDIT:
* The levelling up system is not very clear too. I have a hard time understanding where my level points make the biggest difference. Should I put this point into STR or Memory? If I put it in memory I am falling behind in damage versus new higher level enemies etc.
EDIT:
* I found it annoying to not be able to zoom out even more or have complete control of the camera angle.
Positive
* The game looks really, really promising. I like it a lot.
* The game doesnt hold your hand at all which I like (I would hate seeing the game dumbed down too much to cater to certain demographics of gamers).
* I like what I see as deep character backgrounds where you don't have to play a pacifist "good" character or an evil megalomaniac. There seems to be a lot of space for playing in the grey area in between.
