If you have given all goods and cash to your character with best bartering and they die you are stuffed.

You can't even take the money from them to go an buy a resurrection scroll. At the moment the red prince is lying dead with 2266 gold and all spare items (I put everything into bartering for him) and all junk items.

You have to trudge around and pick up sea-shells and shit until you get 64 gild to resurrect them or sell the clothes off your own back.

This is annoying.

At the moment you only have the option to split or drop a dead party members items. It would be nice to be able to transfer them to the one who was not dead.

I am doing a playthrough with the 4 standard party members and all of them got killed by the worm except Ifan. I then had to trek all the way back to the fort and sell the clothes off my back (and some skillbooks I'd carefully stolen) to buy 3 resurrection scrolls. And then trudge back almost naked to resurrect the other 3. Sure I can kill Griff and his gang later (I just don't want to yet) to get the stuff back but it would make sense if you could take the cash of your dead colleague to buy the scroll to resurrect him.

I think so anyway.

OK, I retract this somewhat. You can drag and drop from one (dead) character to another - just not right click and send to as you can when they are not dead.

Guess I sold stuff for nothing...

A waypoint at the Gareths camp would be nice though. It is a long way from either Lucians Shrine or the seekers camp if you want to head up to the RH corner of the map.

I've always been able to loot the dead character, just like any dead NPC.

That being said, I dislike that resurrection scrolls are the only way to rez a dead party member. I think it'd be nice if there was something more convenient. As-is a survivor may have to go all the way across the map, search around, hopefully your party has enough money, etc. It's a real pain if you're unprepared. You can't even take the corpse with you, so when you finally procure a scroll, you have to trek all the way back.

It'd be kind of nice if there was a non-combat rez scroll (or even a hydrosophist skill or something) that was a little cheaper than combat rez scrolls. Combat rez scrolls could even be more expensive if there were cheaper, non-combat variants. Also, nothing more annoying than ending combat with a character on fire and nearly dead, and you can't get to healing him fast enough. Non-combat rezzes would make that slightly less obnoxious.

If you keep your bedroll on the hotbar it solves the issue of not being able to heal a burning character fast enough after combat. There's no cast-time on the bedroll.

Sometimes it happens so fast I barely even have time to go hit the bedroll, especially if I have to select that particular character because they're far from the currently selected character for bedroll to reach, and especially if there's two+ characters that are about to DoT to death. The bedroll is insant, but I still might only have a second to hit it. It's not a huge deal, but just a little irksome when it happens and it feels like I was screwed because the game went into real time. Guess you just have to try and heal your characters to levels where you can react to heal them before they die.

Yeah, it's not perfect. I had a character die to post-combat poison damage after writing that frown , but that was because I pre-buff bedroll and it was still on cooldown after the fight.

I have a bedroll on each character and have it hotkeyed to #1, which helps a lot. If characters are chained and not too far away (and not on cooldown) it heals all at once.

I would really like to be able to pause the game and issue commands when outside of combat. This would be great for the problem you described and make initiating fights and careful positioning a lot easier for a single-player managing a full party too.
