We had some weird surface interactions with poison wands last week and I'm hoping someone can clarify how it is supposed to work.

Attacking someone with a poison wand when they are on a fire surface seems to cover the entire fire surface in a poison cloud. While this might be expected it is a little annoying.

But, attacking someone on an ice surface had the same effect, which seems more like a bug.

Regardless, poison wands feel a little dangerous right now and I never quite know what to expect when using them. Thanks to anyone who can provide a little clarification.

Surface spreading is completely out of control and follows no logical rules regarding the volume of the substances that are being spread.

What you are experiencing in regards to ice turning to poison is the latest episode of that problem: poison now turns ALL water it touches into poison too.
