Verdistis. Not sure why, it's just a beautiful place.

Cousel of Sven was beautiful - the scying bowls were so nice to look at. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> And, of course the Succubus! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Man, is that art or what?

I voted for the Dark Forest; there is more action there. Verdistis was a bit slow moving for me. There are of course several areas you didn't mention.
--Sewers
--Catacombs
--Iona's dungeon
--Stormfist castle--the worst! If in the interest of role playing the Larian's wished to reproduce in me the feelings my character was having they succeeded in the castle--a tiresome loathsome time waster with the most repulsive quests.
--The Black Ring area at the end of the game.

The question is not, Can they reason? nor, Can they talk? but, Can they suffer?

dark forest here too......there was lots to do, and a very large area, to do it in! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
sword/stone
dwarven halls
elven ruins
warriors guild
burial grounds
strange dwarves
boratus
Imp's castle
holy grail, stalker, treasure cave,
and prison hatches easter egg
plus the rain and storm around the "talking tree" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
it's gotta be the best section in the whole game! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
