Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Selling items give no gold (yes I auto balanced)

Has anyone else run into this issue? I just downloaded the current build and I can't get gold from merchants by selling items. For example, I just tried to sell my fireball scroll to Griff for 23 gold. I auto-balanced the transaction, 23 gold was added to his side of the equation, but neither me or my party members got any gold and I lost the scroll.

I also tried manually putting 23 gold in his trade window and it didn't work. Both times he lost the gold but I did not get any. He had 150 gold so he had enough for the transaction. What is going on here?

Edit: Nevermind the gold was going into a pouch in my inventory.

I think we've all been there! I did one better and managed to have my gold disappear into a locked chest that I'd picked up to deal with later when I had the means to do so.

I reported that as a bug a while ago. They'll probably fix it. At least the fact that it shows you have 0 gold at the top of your bag and can't use the gold automatically should be fixed.
