Alexander isn't present at the end of Act 1 in my game.

I beat Dallis and Alexander when they were in front of Fort Joy in that game so that may be why.
This is making it impossible for me to complete Act 1 for that game since: No Alexander = No Drillworm = No boat to finish Act 1.

Whoa you people must be really skilled to beat both of them, that early.

Still that kinda sucks.

There is a ladder that prevents the cutscene from happening so you can clear out all of Fort Joy, so long as you don't leave for the Marsh.
By then, you can fight them with level 5 characters and somewhat okayish gear and most skills.
Nevertheless, Dallis one shot anyone she reaches in melee and Alexander will kill anyone besides high Physical Armor characters in a single Battle Stomp.
So the only way to win the fight is by keeping Dallis away with Teleports and either laying an ice field in the gate to Fort Joy to get some knockdowns on passage or leaving a cheesy static cloud or puddle that she will refuse to cross. Meanwhile, you let Alexander cross the gate and come to you then lay down enough DPS to remove his Physical Armor so you can Knock him down on the first round and get him low enough on the second that Dallis will *redacted* (I won't spoil that part, let's just say Dallis and Alexander together leave the fight if one of them gets too low.) leaving only her 2 pets and the couple of magisters. Being level 5 yourself, the level 2-3 magisters are nothing more than flies waiting to be squashed by you and the 2 pets won't do enough to kill you if your party is capable of the feat of beating Dallis and Alexander.

there must be a bug occured in your run. He will still be there even if you beat Dallis and Bishop at Fort Joy before.

Huh, they really need to make this into a mechanic. If you beat them both, just have them leave with like 1 HP left. And then add a bit of dialogue and stuff later on to signify that they realize you beat them so early on etc.

But tbh, probably just gotta bump up that fight's difficulty by like a level or two. I mean it's strange that Dallis is only level 8, does the engine only support levels up to that point in this stage of the alpha?

It's probably because they want Dallis to be beatable not at ease but still not impossible.

I don't find it strange and here's why (Spoiler alert):
Her dragon form is probably not level 8, her human form is most likely weaker than her dragon form.
There is another dragon (forgot the name) on the island who is also around level 7 or so and honestly that is more questionable than her being level 8.
To add to that, she clearly his consuming Magister Atusa source when she kills her, so she probably is going to grow stronger as the game advance because of it, just like how Braccus Rex grew stronger (and crazier) from devouring his enemies source.
